Ranges are indicative for international patients at accredited private hospitals and are reviewed periodically. They are not a quotation and not a substitute for medical advice. USA and UK figures refer to private, self-pay treatment.
Prices for patients from your country
The same procedure, with the visa rules, flight time and currency that apply to you.
What your budget needs to cover
Hospital package
Surgery, surgeon and anaesthetist fees, ward or ICU stay for the stated days, routine medicines and standard tests.
Travel and stay
Flights, visa fee, and accommodation for you and your attendant before admission and after discharge. Guesthouses near major hospitals start around $15β$30 a night.
Contingency
Keep 15β20% aside. Extended ICU stay, an additional procedure, or a longer recovery than planned are the usual reasons a final bill exceeds the estimate.
Common questions about cost
Why is treatment in India so much cheaper?
Lower salary and infrastructure costs, a large volume of procedures per surgeon, and locally manufactured consumables. The implants, drugs and equipment at accredited hospitals are the same international brands used in the US and UK β the saving is in overheads, not in the quality of what goes into you.
Is the price on this page the final price?
No. These are typical ranges for international patients. Your actual quotation depends on your diagnosis, the hospital and surgeon you choose, the implant or drug protocol, your length of stay, and whether complications arise. We send a written estimate from the hospital before you travel.
What is included in the hospital package?
Most packages cover the procedure, surgeon and anaesthetist fees, hospital stay for the stated number of days, routine medication and standard investigations. Not usually included: travel, accommodation for your attendant outside the hospital, extended ICU stay, or treatment of unrelated conditions found during workup.
How do I pay?
Hospitals accept international wire transfer, foreign currency cash within legal limits, and major credit cards. You pay the hospital directly β Navaid.in charges international patients nothing for coordination.
Will my insurance cover treatment in India?
Some international and corporate policies do, and a few offer direct billing with Indian hospitals. Most patients from Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia pay themselves. Send us your policy and we will check what your insurer will accept before you commit.
